Australian Foundation Investment Company reduces capital through buy-back

Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited (AFI) has ceased 818,030 ordinary fully paid securities as a result of an on-market buy-back. The cessation, effective from October 1, 2025, follows share purchases conducted between September 10, 2025, and September 25, 2025.

The total consideration paid for these securities was AUD 5,876,986.21. Following this cessation, the company's total number of ordinary fully paid securities on issue now stands at 1,260,952,711.

This move reflects the company's strategy to manage its capital structure, with the buy-back being a direct cancellation of shares acquired through the on-market process.
