Vulcan completes acquisition of Roofing Industries

Vulcan Steel Limited (Vulcan) has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Roofing Industries Limited, effective September 30, 2025. This follows the satisfaction of key conditions in the sale and purchase agreement with Francis and Gellatly Holdings Limited. Vulcan acquired 100% of the shares in Roofing Industries Limited, a company owned by founding owners Keith Francis and David Gellatly.

Founded in 1999, Roofing Industries is an established New Zealand-based manufacturer and supplier of steel roofing and cladding products, employing over 250 staff. The company operates in 15 locations, serving residential, commercial, and rural markets.

Vulcan, established in 1995, is an Australasian-wide industrial product distributor and value-added processor. It boasts 66 logistics and processing facilities and employs approximately 1,350 staff across its Steel and Metals divisions.
