Air New Zealand shareholders back board-supported resolutions

At its Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, held in Auckland and virtually on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Air New Zealand shareholders overwhelmingly approved two resolutions supported by the board of directors. The voting process was conducted by way of poll.

The re-election of Therese Walsh as a director received substantial support, with 2,155,244,109 votes (97.77%) cast in favor and 49,137,624 votes (2.23%) against. Additionally, 2,804,092 abstentions were recorded for this resolution.

Similarly, the election of Neal Barclay was met with high approval, garnering 2,200,371,237 votes (99.83%) for and 3,665,611 votes (0.17%) against. There were 3,149,619 abstentions for this resolution. The detailed results highlight broad shareholder backing for the company’s governance.
