The Vanguard Group, Inc. has formally disclosed a substantial holding in Chorus Limited, as per Section 276 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. The disclosure, made on September 24, 2025, indicates that Vanguard's substantial holding began on September 19, 2025. The investment firm now holds a total of 23,752,155 ordinary shares in Chorus, representing 5.474% of the total 433,887,294 shares in the class.

The acquisition involved numerous transactions between May 28, 2025, and September 19, 2025. These transactions primarily consisted of "BUY" orders, with share prices ranging from NZD 7.48 to NZD 8.91. Notable purchases on September 19, 2025, included substantial blocks of shares such as 3,871,542 and 5,948,161 at NZD 8.3 per share.

While the majority of transactions were purchases, The Vanguard Group also executed several "SELL" orders, including (177,575) shares at NZD 8.3 on September 19, 2025, and (13,800) shares at NZD 8.82 on September 10, 2025.
