Bankers Investment Trust buys back shares for treasury

The Bankers Investment Trust PLC (the Company) announced that on 24 September 2025, it completed a market purchase of 599,321 ordinary shares, each with a nominal value of 2.5p. These shares were acquired at a price of 129.1963p per share and will be held in treasury. This buyback was carried out under the authority granted at the Company's annual general meeting on 25 February 2025.

Following this transaction, the Company's issued share capital remains at 1,315,102,830 ordinary shares of 2.5p each. Of this total, 300,227,230 shares, representing 22.8% of the issued capital, are now held in treasury and do not carry any voting rights.

For the purpose of calculating voting interests, the total number of voting rights in The Bankers Investment Trust PLC currently stands at 1,014,875,600.
