Contact Energy issues shares through dividend reinvestment plan

Contact Energy Limited announced on September 24, 2025, the quotation of 8,361,906 new ordinary shares under its dividend reinvestment plan. These shares were issued at NZD 8.7241 per security and represent 0.85% of the total class of financial products. The issuance is for cash consideration and ranks equally with existing shares.

The new shares stem from the final dividend for the period ending June 30, 2025. Following this issue, the total number of quoted ordinary shares on ASX will increase to 460,700,691, with 532,936,319 unquoted shares remaining.
