Westpac completes full redemption of Capital Notes 5

Westpac Banking Corporation has fully redeemed all 16,903,383 outstanding Westpac Capital Notes 5 (WCN 5) on September 22, 2025, in accordance with a redemption notice issued on July 31, 2025. As a result, there are no WCN 5 notes remaining on issue.

All WCN 5 holders on the record date of September 12, 2025, received a payment of $100 for each note, along with a final fully franked distribution of $1.211 per WCN 5, both paid on September 22, 2025. The cessation of these securities was noted as "Other" in the regulatory filings, with no additional consideration paid for the cessation itself.

Following this redemption, the total number of +securities on issue for WBCPH has been reduced to 0. Other quoted securities, such as WBC ordinary fully paid shares, remain at 3,420,353,305. The total number of unquoted WBCAC: US$ 5.0% FIXED RATE RESET PERP SUB CONV SECURITIES remains at 1,250,000,000.
