FirstCape Group boosts stake in Scales Corporation

FirstCape Group Limited has disclosed an increase in its substantial holding in Scales Corporation Limited, with its percentage held in class rising from 15.096% to 16.145%. This movement represents an increase of 1.049% in its stake, corresponding to an additional 1,511,310 ordinary shares, bringing the total number of shares held to 23,254,453 as of September 16, 2025.

The transactions contributing to this change include significant on-market purchases by FirstCape's subsidiaries. Harbour Asset Management Limited made purchases totalling NZD4,873,598.56 for 978,213 shares, while also selling 382,272 shares for NZD1,1881,730.57. BNZ Investment Services Limited purchased 404,644 shares for NZD1,975,521.08 and sold 79,116 shares for NZD390,723.54. JBWere (NZ) Limited acquired 1,123,331 shares for NZD5,364,602.37 and sold 241,626 shares for NZD1,177,704.57.

After these transactions, Harbour Asset Management Limited now holds 16,517,846 shares, representing 11.468% of the class. BNZ Investment Services Limited holds 3,779,957 shares (2.624%), and JBWere (NZ) Limited holds 6,736,607 shares (4.677%).
