Air New Zealand finishes share buyback, cancels 1.4m shares

Air New Zealand Limited has announced the acquisition and cancellation of 1,401,922 ordinary shares, representing 0.0426% of its total class of financial products. This comprises 686,833 ordinary shares acquired on NZX and ASX, and 715,089 shares purchased off-market from the Crown, as part of a board-approved buy-back program announced on February 20, 2025.

The shares acquired on NZX had an average price of NZD $0.5968, while those on ASX were acquired at an average of AUD $0.5309. The off-market acquisition from the Crown was priced at NZD $0.5961 per share. All acquisitions were made for cash and are paid in full.

Following these transactions, the total number of ordinary shares excluding Treasury Stock is 3,286,067,872, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock. The shares acquired on NZX and ASX settled and cancelled on September 19, 2025, and those from the Crown on September 22, 2025.
