Tait Communications completes Vital Ltd. takeover, plans delisting

Tait International Ltd., a global provider of critical communications solutions, announced on September 15, 2025, that its takeover offer for Vital Ltd. has reached 90% acceptances. The offer encompassed 100% of Vital's equity securities, including ordinary shares and unlisted employee share options. Having met the 90% voting rights threshold, Tait will now compulsorily acquire the remaining shares and intends to delist Vital from the NZX.

According to Yoram Benit, PhD, Tait Communications chief executive and managing director, this acquisition is a strategic move to expand Tait's market positioning, product offerings, and reach within New Zealand. Vital's integration is expected to bolster Tait's commitment to enhancing the local communications market.
