Templeton Trust buys back shares, updates NAV

Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC ("the Company") purchased 309,058 ordinary shares at a price of 210.07 pence per share on September 12, 2025, for cancellation. Following this transaction, the company's share capital now consists of 973,111,534 shares in issue and 60,000,000 shares held in treasury, making the total number of voting rights 973,111,534. Shares held in treasury will only be reissued at a price above the prevailing NAV per share.

The unaudited cum-income net asset value (NAV) of TEMIT as of September 11, 2025, was £2227.761m, representing a NAV of 228.85 pence per share. The unaudited ex-income NAV on the same date was £2196.645m, representing 225.66 pence per share. These NAV figures are calculated in accordance with Association of Investment Companies recommendations, using bid price information.

Shareholders may use the 973,111,534 figure as the denominator for calculations to determine if they need to notify their interest in the company under FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
