Ventia secures $2.7bn in defence contracts

Ventia (ASX:VNT) has been awarded two Base Services Transformation (BST) packages by the Department of Defence, valued at approximately A$2.7 billion over an initial six-year term, with extension options up to a maximum of 10 years. These packages cover Living and Working Services (LWS) in the Northern Territory, Victoria, and Tasmania, as well as Property and Asset Services (PAS) in Western Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania, representing a third of the total LWS and PAS packages. This follows the July 2024 award of the national Firefighting Services package.

The contracts are expected to commence on February 1, 2026, reinforcing Ventia's established role as a provider of integrated Defence infrastructure and asset management support services. The company highlighted its 36 years of support for Defence capability and its recognition as Base Services Contractor of the Year 2024 and Veteran Employer of Choice.

Ventia emphasized that these awards underscore the breadth of its capabilities across Army, Air Force, and Navy bases, and its commitment to service excellence and supporting Defence personnel and communities.
