Templeton Trust buys back shares, updates NAV

Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares for cancellation on 9 September 2025 at a price of 205.18 pence per share. Following this transaction, the company's share capital now comprises 974,916,517 shares in issue and 60,000,000 shares held in treasury. The total number of voting rights is 974,916,517.

Concurrently, on 8 September 2025, the unaudited cum-income net asset value (NAV) was £2,184.906m, equivalent to 223.88 pence per share. The unaudited ex-income NAV on the same date was £2,155.387m, or 220.85 pence per share. Shares held in treasury will only be reissued at a price above the prevailing NAV per share to protect existing shareholders' interests.

Shareholders can use the updated voting rights figure of 974,916,517 for calculations related to notifying their interest in the company under FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
