Air New Zealand completes share buyback, reducing total shares

Air New Zealand has completed a capital change, acquiring 690,101 ordinary shares, representing 0.0209% of its total class of financial products. This includes 338,096 shares purchased on the NZX and ASX, and 352,005 shares acquired off-market from the Crown. The acquisitions are part of a board-approved buy-back program announced on 20 February 2025.

The on-market acquisitions were executed at average prices of NZD $0.6000 on NZX for 219,936 shares and AUD $0.5405 on ASX for 118,160 shares. The off-market acquisition from the Crown was priced at NZD $0.6001 per share. All acquired shares will be cancelled and not held as treasury stock.

The on-market shares acquired on 02/09/2025 will be settled and cancelled on 04/09/2025. The off-market shares acquired from the Crown on 03/09/2025 will be settled and cancelled on 05/09/2025, bringing the total ordinary shares after the buyback to 3,299,016,608.
