Rakon appoints new independent director Dr Peter Baines

Rakon Limited has appointed Dr Peter Baines as an independent director, effective after the 2025 annual meeting on August 22, 2025. The appointment ensures the company meets NZX listing rule requirements for board independence.

Independent director Lorraine Witten will remain on the board after reconsidering her intention to retire. Dr Baines brings over 25 years of leadership experience in technology, manufacturing, R&D, and commercialisation, holding degrees in mathematics and physics plus a PhD in physics.
