Booster fund emissions rise despite improved intensity

Booster Investment Management's Private Land and Property Fund reported total gross emissions of 21,702 tCO2e for the year ended 31 March 2025, up from 19,275 tCO2e in 2024.

However, emissions intensity improved to 101.5 tCO2e/$M from 136.9 tCO2e/$M, primarily due to new warehouse investments.

The fund's portfolio spans viticulture (25%), horticulture (26%), dairy (16%), and industrial (28%) properties across New Zealand. Booster acknowledges climate data availability remains incomplete, with reporting relying on estimates and assumptions.
