Spark New Zealand appoints three new directors

Spark New Zealand announced the appointment of Lindsay Wright, Vince Hawksworth, and Tarek Robbiati as independent, non-executive directors. Wright joins on August 1, 2025, with Hawksworth and Robbiati following on October 1, 2025.

The appointments coincide with Gordon MacLeod stepping down on September 1, 2025, and Sheridan Broadbent's retirement on October 1, 2025, due to a conflict of interest. Wright will become chair of the Audit and Risk Management Committee upon MacLeod's retirement.
