Turners Automotive cuts emissions 5.3% as electric fleet grows

Turners Automotive Group achieved a 5.3% reduction in absolute operational emissions from FY23 levels, with a 4% reduction from the previous year. The progress was driven by transitioning its company vehicle fleet to Low Emission Vehicles, which comprised 74% of the total group fleet by March 2025.

The company's first-time import vehicle emissions fell 82% from the FY19 base year to 3,499 tonnes of CO2, despite a 16% increase from FY24 due to demand changes. Emissions from financed vehicles dropped 17% from FY19.

Physical climate impacts in FY25 included $35,000 in storm damage to a container shelter and $38,308 for roofing improvements at another branch.
