Fletcher Building explores divestment of construction division

Fletcher Building is exploring potential divestment options for its Construction Division, including the Higgins, Brian Perry Civil, and Fletcher Construction Major Projects business units following inbound interest.

Managing director and chief executive Andrew Reding said strong performance and the role these businesses play in New Zealand's infrastructure pipeline led to the inbound interest. Financial advisers have been appointed to test divestment options, though no decision to sell has been made.
