Mitsubishi UFJ takes 5% stake in Chorus

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group has disclosed a 5.022% stake in Chorus Ltd, holding 21.79 million ordinary shares through its subsidiaries including First Sentier Investors entities.

The Japanese banking group's interest is split between a 2.351% deemed holding through First Sentier entities and a 2.671% stake linked to its shareholding in Morgan Stanley. The disclosure was made on July 18, with the holding beginning July 15.
