F&C Investment Trust buys back shares

F&C Investment Trust PLC (NZX:FCT) announced today it has purchased 43,857 of its own ordinary shares, priced at 25 pence each, through J.P. Morgan Securities plc, to be held in treasury. The lowest price paid per share was 1116.00p, the highest price was 1121.00p, and the weighted average price was 1120.3779p. Following the transaction, the Company's total holding of ordinary shares in treasury is 80,813,638, with 481,005,378 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares. The total number of voting rights in the Company is now 481,005,378. This figure may be used by shareholders in calculations to determine if they need to notify the company of their interest in the Company under regulatory guidelines.
