Air New Zealand acquires 761,607 shares in buy-back program

Air New Zealand (NZX:AIR) announced today it has acquired 761,607 of its ordinary shares as part of its ongoing buy-back program, initiated on February 20, 2025. The acquisition includes 373,128 shares purchased on the NZX and ASX, and 388,479 shares acquired off-market from the Sovereign in right of New Zealand acting through the Minister of Finance (the Crown). The average price paid was NZD 0.5749 for NZX-acquired shares and AUD 0.5299 for ASX-acquired shares, while shares from the Crown were acquired at NZD 0.5743 per share. This latest transaction represents approximately 0.0230% of the total class of financial products. Following this acquisition, Air New Zealand holds 93 treasury stocks. The shares acquired will be cancelled.
