Carbon fund acquires 223,137 CO2 units for treasury stock

Carbon Fund (NZX:CO2) announced today the acquisition of 223,137 CO2 units for a total of NZD327,411.15, or NZD1.4674 per unit, paid in cash. The units, representing 0.7699% of the total units on issue, will be held as treasury stock under the authority of the Master Trust Deed. Following this acquisition, the total number of fully paid ordinary units in existence, excluding treasury stock, stands at 28,984,122. Concurrently, Salt Investment Funds Limited reported the Net Tangible Assets (NTA) for the Carbon Fund at 1.7423 as of June 17, 2025. The Fund, managed by Salt Investment Funds Limited, aims to provide investors with exposure to carbon credit prices through investments in emissions trading schemes, both in New Zealand and internationally.
