Vulcan Steel announces CEO transition, new board leadership

** Vulcan Steel (NZX: VSL) announced that Rhys Jones will retire as CEO on January 1, 2026, after 19 years of service. Gavin Street, currently Chief Commercial Officer, will assume the role of Managing Director and CEO. Jones will be nominated to stand for election as Board Chair, replacing Russell Chenu, who will remain on the Board as lead independent director. Vulcan's Chief Operating Officer, Adrian Casey, remains committed to his role. The changes aim to ensure continuity and stability. The company's next annual shareholder meeting is scheduled around October 2025. From January 1, 2026, the Board will consist of a majority of independent directors, with four of the seven directors being independent.
