Westpac appoints Philippa Greenwood as non-executive director

Westpac Banking Corporation (NZX:WBC) today announced Philippa (Pip) Greenwood's appointment as an independent Non-Executive Director, subject to regulatory approvals, commencing on or around August 1, 2025. Greenwood, a former leading commercial lawyer in New Zealand, has served as a Non-Executive Director of Westpac New Zealand Limited (WNZL) since 2019 and as Chair since 2021. Westpac Chairman Steven Gregg noted Greenwood's experience and skills would complement the existing board. Greenwood is currently Chair of Westpac New Zealand Limited and The a2 Milk Company Limited and a Non-Executive Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited.
