Comvita appoints Karl Gradon as new CEO

Comvita Limited (NZX:CVT) announced the appointment of Karl Gradon as CEO, effective August 1, 2025. Gradon brings extensive leadership experience in the primary industry, with prior roles at Fonterra, Kerry Ingredients, and most recently as CEO of Miraka. He will replace Brett Hewlett who has served as acting CEO since September 2024, where he brought stability during a challenging period. Hewlett will stay on in an advisory capacity until the end of September 2025 to facilitate the transition. The company highlighted Gradon's expertise in innovation, sustainable growth, and international market expansion as aligning with Comvita's strategic objectives.
