Cooks Coffee sales surge 49% amid expansion

Cooks Coffee Company (NZX:CCC) announced preliminary results for the year ended March 31, 2025, highlighting a 49% increase in group revenue to NZ$7.0m. Franchisee store sales in the UK and Ireland rose by 33% to NZ$79.6m. UK store sales increased by 38% to NZ$55.6m, while Ireland saw a 22% increase to NZ$24.1m. The company reported EBITDA of NZ$1.4m compared to NZ$336k in FY24. Cooks has been awarded a contract to manage cafes within Dairygold garden centers. Subsequent to the period end, Cooks Coffee signed a Master Franchise Agreement to expand into the Indian market and formed a joint venture to acquire the Black Goo brand in the UK. The company now operates 89 sites in the UK and Ireland with plans for further growth. The group has also implemented a new banking arrangement which will reduce interest costs.
