Air New Zealand acquires 404,923 shares in buyback program

Air New Zealand (NZX:AIR) has announced the acquisition of 404,923 ordinary shares as part of its ongoing share buyback program, as detailed in a notice released on May 23, 2025. The acquisition includes 134,248 shares on the NZX at an average price of NZD 0.5970, 64,133 shares on the ASX at an average price of AUD 0.5500, and 206,542 shares acquired off-market from the Sovereign in right of New Zealand at NZD 0.5969. The shares acquired from the program will be cancelled and are not for use as Treasury Stock. The buyback, authorized by a Board resolution on February 20, 2025, operates under NZX Listing Rules 4.14.1(a) and 4.14.1(b)(ii). Following the transactions, the company's total number of ordinary shares is 3,327,920,813, with 93 held as Treasury Stock.
