Air New Zealand acquires 516,484 shares in buy-back

Air New Zealand (NZX:AIR) announced today it has acquired 516,484 of its ordinary shares as part of its ongoing buy-back program announced on February 20, 2025. Of the total acquired, 253,037 shares were purchased on the NZX and ASX, with average prices of NZD 0.5812 and AUD 0.5353 respectively. An additional 263,447 shares were acquired off-market from the Sovereign in right of New Zealand, acting through the Minister of Finance, at a price of NZD 0.5806. The acquisition represents 0.0155% of the company's total ordinary shares. The shares acquired on the NZX and ASX will be settled and cancelled on May 9, 2025, and those from the Crown on May 12, 2025; these shares will not be held as treasury stock. Following this acquisition, the total number of ordinary shares stands at 3,334,796,020, with 93 shares held as Treasury Stock.
