CDLHH NZ increases stake in Millennium & Copthorne Hotels

CDL Hotels Holdings New Zealand (CDLHH NZ) has increased its substantial holding in Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand (NZX:MCK) following acceptances under its full takeover offer, according to a disclosure released May 5, 2025. The total number of shares held by CDLHH NZ has risen to 83,996,653, representing 79.634% of MCK's total issued shares excluding treasury stock. This represents an increase from their last disclosure on April 29, 2025, when they held 83,202,393 shares, equivalent to 78.881%. The increase is primarily attributed to the acceptance of the offer by SG Hiscock & Company Limited and other shareholders. Upon settlement, CDLHH NZ will become the registered holder of an additional 3,979,639 shares, representing 3.773% of the total.
