Aware Super ceases to be substantial holder in Ventia

Aware Super Pty Ltd, as trustee of Aware Super, has announced that it has ceased to be a substantial holder in Ventia Services Group (NZX:VNT) as of April 10, 2025. This follows a series of stock sales by Aware Super beginning in late 2024 and continuing into April 2025, which significantly reduced its holdings. The sales included transactions on April 10, 2025 involving the disposal of 1,657,954 shares at values ranging from AUD 118,833.08 to AUD 2,052,876.89. In a related announcement, Ventia Services Group disclosed that it continued to actively buy back its own shares on the market through Barrenjoey Markets Pty Limited, with 764,673 shares repurchased on April 14, 2025, for a total consideration of AUD 3,170,701.14. This brings the total number of shares bought back to 10,434,231 under an on-market buy-back program of up to $100 million, which began on March 6, 2025, and is slated to end on March 5, 2026.
