Air New Zealand executes share buyback program

Air New Zealand (NZX:AIR) announced today that it has acquired 508,986 of its ordinary shares as part of its ongoing on-market share buyback program. The shares were acquired on both the NZX and ASX. The average price paid was NZD $0.5770 for 317,152 shares purchased on the NZX, and AUD $0.5250 for 191,834 shares acquired on the ASX. The buyback, approved by the Board on February 20, 2025, will see the acquired shares cancelled. Following the buyback, the total number of ordinary shares, excluding treasury stock, amounts to 3,343,255,175. The total number held as treasury stock remains at 93. This action is in accordance with NZX Listing Rules 4.14.1(a) and 4.14.1(b)(ii). The shares acquired will be settled and cancelled on April 9, 2025.
