Milind Torawane resigns as Gujarat State Petronet joint managing director

Milind Torawane has resigned from his position as joint managing director of Gujarat State Petronet Limited, effective December 24, 2025. The resignation follows his transfer and appointment as principal secretary to the government, education department (primary & secondary education), as per a government notification dated December 23, 2025.

In addition to his role at Gujarat State Petronet, Torawane has also tendered his resignation from the boards of nine other associated companies, including Gujarat Gas Limited (managing director), Gujarat State Energy Generation Limited (chairman), Sabarmati Gas Limited (chairman), and Petronet LNG Limited (nominee director).

This leadership change was communicated to both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. on December 25, 2025. The company confirmed that there are no relationships between Torawane and other directors.
