Jubilant Pharmova subsidiary faces significant GST demand of over ₹9 crore

Jubilant Biosys Limited, a subsidiary of Jubilant Pharmova Limited, was issued an order by the Joint Commissioner Noida, Meerut, on December 24, 2025. This order confirms a GST demand of ₹6.98 crore, along with a penalty of ₹2.72 crore, bringing the total claim to ₹9.71 crore. The demand stems from alleged discrepancies in GST input tax credit availment for the financial years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23.

Jubilant Pharmova stated that the demand is considered "legally incorrect, bad in law, and has been made on frivolous grounds." The company plans to file an appeal with the Commissioner (Appeals), supported by documentary evidence.

Despite the demand, Jubilant Pharmova believes there will be no material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities, asserting a strong case on the merits of the appeal.
