JSW Energy wins key challenge against MSEDCL at MERC

JSW Energy Limited announced on December 25, 2025, that the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has rejected a petition filed by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) challenging invoices raised by JSW Energy. This decision follows an earlier disclosure on December 13, 2024, regarding MSEDCL's petition.

The dispute centered on invoices issued by JSW Energy pursuant to a MERC order dated July 22, 2024. MERC's final combined order, issued on December 24, 2025, sided with JSW Energy, allowing the petition filed by the company and rejecting MSEDCL's challenge.

This update pertains to material litigation under Regulation 30(4) of the Securities Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company secretary, Monica Chopra, confirmed the outcome.
