Gujarat Gas managing director resigns after government transfer

Gujarat Gas Limited has announced that Milind Torawane has resigned from his position as managing director on the company's board of directors. The resignation is effective December 24, 2025, and follows his transfer and appointment as principal secretary to the government, education department, as per a notification dated December 23, 2025.

Mr. Torawane's resignation extends to other companies where he held directorial roles, effective from the same date. These include his chairman positions at Gujarat State Energy Generation Limited and Sabarmati Gas Limited. He also served as a director for GSPC Pipavav Power Company Limited, GSPL India Transco Limited, and GSPL India Gasnet Limited.

Additionally, Mr. Torawane resigned from his roles as nominee director at Petronet LNG Limited, managing director at Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited, joint managing director at Gujarat State Petronet Limited, and managing director at GSPC LNG Limited. The company has informed stock exchanges of this development.
