Welspun Corp increases stake in specialty solutions unit

Welspun Corp Limited has acquired an additional 2,72,39,744 shares in Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited, increasing its stake in the company. The acquisition, conducted via the open market, represents 4.11% of the total share capital, pushing Welspun Corp's overall holding to 55.17%.

Prior to this transaction, Welspun Corp held 33,82,97,477 shares, accounting for 51.06% of Welspun Specialty Solutions' voting capital. Following the acquisition on December 22, 2025, Welspun Corp Limited now holds a total of 36,55,37,221 shares. The equity share capital of Welspun Specialty Solutions remains at Rs. 3,97,56,68,670, consisting of 66,26,11,445 equity shares of Rs. 6 each.
