Shipping Corporation of India appoints Jothi Krishnan Kandasamy as general manager

The Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) has announced the internal promotion of Jothi Krishnan Kandasamy to general manager, effective December 24, 2025. This change in senior management was disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Kandasamy brings over 33 years of experience across various business verticals, including budget control, management information system, IT network management, software development, drydock operations, international shipping, training and development, and internal audit. He holds qualifications in computer technology, an MBA in finance and marketing, and a post graduate diploma in HR.

Kandasamy joined SCI as a junior officer in 1995 and now heads the internal audit department within the finance division. This appointment reflects his long-standing tenure and diverse expertise within the company.
