Royal Orchid Hotels expands central India portfolio with second Gwalior property

Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) announced on December 24, 2025, the signing of "Regenta Gwalior," a new upscale hotel in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This property, located near the Gwalior Airport, marks a step in ROHL's expansion across emerging business and leisure destinations in Central India and will operate under a management agreement. It represents the second Royal Orchid & Regenta property in Gwalior and the third in the Madhya Pradesh region.

The Regenta Gwalior will open in two planned phases. Phase I will introduce 71 rooms and multiple banquet venues for weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings, and MICE requirements. Phase II will add another 30 rooms, increasing the property's total inventory.

The hotel is owned by Hoshiyar Singh Tomar (Oakwood Hotel Pvt. Ltd.) and aims to cater to business travelers, transit guests, and tourists exploring Gwalior's cultural and historical landscape, leveraging its proximity to the airport, key industrial zones, and major landmarks.
