IDBI Trusteeship sells stake in Parsvnath Developers to recover debt

IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd. (ITSL) has disclosed the sale of 8,890,984 equity shares of Parsvnath Developers Limited in the open market between July 17, 2025, and December 22, 2025. This transaction represents 2.04% of Parsvnath Developers' total share/voting capital.

Prior to this sale, ITSL held 31,579,549 shares, representing 7.26% of the company's share capital. Following the disposal, ITSL's holding in Parsvnath Developers has decreased to 22,688,565 shares, which now constitutes 5.22% of the total share/voting capital. The shares were sold on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and BSE Limited.

The sale was initiated due to certain events of default under the Debenture Trust Deed, with ITSL acting as a share pledge trustee/debenture trustee on behalf of lenders. The purpose of this sale was to recover outstanding amounts owed by Parsvnath Developers.
