Crompton Greaves secures MSEDCL order for solar pumping systems

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has received an order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for EPC contracts involving the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) with PV Modules. This order falls under the MTSKPY/ PM-KUSUM scheme and covers various locations across the state of Maharashtra.

The total order value for these 2,000 units, excluding GST, is INR 46,20,48,229.00. The company anticipates completing the execution of this order within 60 days from the date of issue of the Notice to Proceed. This domestic order highlights the company's continued involvement in renewable energy projects within India.

The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and was signed by Rashmi Khandelwal, company secretary & compliance officer. The company confirmed that there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the entity that awarded the contract and that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
