Supreme Petrochem clarifies mABS plant temporary shutdown, other operations unaffected

Supreme Petrochem Limited (SPL) issued a clarification on December 23, 2025, concerning its Amdoshi plant in Maharashtra, following reports of an alleged full plant shutdown. The company explicitly stated that information suggesting a complete closure of its Amdoshi operations is "absolutely incorrect and misreported."

The company clarified that only its newly setup mABS Plant at Amdoshi, Nagothane Maharashtra, has a temporary closure due to the malfunctioning of critical production equipment. All other operations at the Amdoshi plant, including the production of PS/EPS/GPPS/HIPS/XPS, remain fully operational.

This clarification was submitted to ensure investors and other stakeholders receive accurate information and to prevent misunderstandings arising from the circulation of misreported facts. The company emphasized that the official intimation on December 22, 2025, pertained solely to the mABS plant's operational status.
