Shree Cement plant lockout resolved, production resumes in Chhattisgarh

Shree Cement Limited reported on December 23, 2025, that the lockout at its cement plant in Baloda Bazar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has been amicably resolved. The lockout, which began on December 18, 2025, was officially withdrawn at 11:00 PM on December 22, 2025, following a settlement between management and workmen.

During the lockout, there was no reported loss or damage to the company's property. However, the company experienced a loss of cement production estimated at around 10,000 tons per day. Management and workmen successfully reached an amicable settlement to end the standoff and restore normalcy.
