RVNL receives tax demand notice for FY2021-22

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) announced on December 23, 2025, that it has received a demand notice from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner DGSTO-1, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The notice, dated December 22, 2025, pertains to a total demand of 3.64 crore rupees for the financial year 2021-22. This disclosure was made in compliance with SEBI regulations.

According to RVNL, the demand notice does not have a material impact on the company's financial, operational, or other activities. The company views these orders as challengeable and confirmed that necessary appeals have either been filed or are in the process of being filed with the appropriate appellate authorities.

The company's company secretary and compliance officer, Kalpana Dubey, signed the announcement, confirming that the required annexure detailing the specifics of the demand was enclosed. This development highlights ongoing regulatory scrutiny within the Indian corporate sector.
