GPT Infraprojects secures $24m railway contract

GPT Infraprojects Limited has secured a new contract valued at ₹199.2 crore from CAO/CON, Gorakhpur, North Eastern Railway. The contract entails the construction of substructure, including fabrication and launching of superstructure, for important Bridge No. 247 and Bridge No. 287. These bridges, each 10x61.0 meters, will feature Double D type well foundation for double line over the Rapti River, connecting Balrampur and Bahraich stations as part of the new Khalilabad-Bahraich section.

The domestic contract is scheduled to be executed within 730 days from the appointed date. This latest award brings GPT Infraprojects’s outstanding order book to ₹4,655 crore, with total order inflow (including L1) for Fiscal 2026 reaching ₹1,759 crore.
