Godfrey Phillips India Limited has filed an insurance claim of INR 344.49 crore with its insurer following a fire incident at a third-party tobacco processing plant and warehouse in District Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, which occurred on October 10, 2025. The claim, dated December 23, 2025, is currently under assessment by the insurer, with settlement to be determined based on policy conditions.

The company anticipates that the actual damage incurred will be consistent with the amount claimed. As the fire occurred at a third-party facility, there has been no impact on Godfrey Phillips' own manufacturing operations. The incident is not expected to materially affect the company's financial performance.
