Vardhman Special Steels to invest Rs 475 crores in new forging facility

Vardhman Special Steels Limited’s board of directors has approved the establishment of a new manufacturing unit for forging steel components, specifically for the automotive industry. The decision was made at a board meeting held on Monday, December 22, 2025, in Punjab. This initiative represents a forward integration of the company's existing steel-making operations.

The company plans to invest approximately Rs 475 crores in this new facility. The expansion is expected to provide a comprehensive, one-stop solution for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEs), emphasizing Japanese-quality standards.

This disclosure aligns with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
