Tech Mahindra expands footprint with new Ugandan entity

Tech Mahindra Limited announced that its step-down subsidiary, Yabx Technologies Uganda Limited, was incorporated in the Republic of Uganda on December 22, 2025. This new entity is a subsidiary of Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited, itself a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. Yabx Uganda's primary objective is to offer software and analytics platform-related services in Uganda.

The initial share capital of Yabx Uganda is UGX 1,700,000, comprising 17,000 shares of UGX 100/- each. Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) holds 100% of the shareholding in Yabx Uganda. The company is newly incorporated and has not yet commenced business operations.

Yabx Uganda aims to serve prospective clients, including banks, micro-financial institutions, and other lenders.
