Ramco Cements exceeds non-core asset disposal target

The Ramco Cements Limited today announced the sale of non-core assets totaling Rs.514.90 crores to M/s. Prestige Estates Projects Limited. This transaction brings the company's cumulative non-core asset disposals to Rs.1,016.92 crores, successfully surpassing its initial target of Rs.1,000 crores.

The company previously disclosed its intention to dispose of non-core assets with a targeted value of approximately Rs.1,000 crores following earlier disposals amounting to Rs.502.02 crores. The proceeds from these disposals are specifically earmarked for reducing the company's debts.

Furthermore, The Ramco Cements has taken proactive steps to divest additional non-core assets valued at approximately Rs.200 crores, with a target completion date before February 28, 2026. This ongoing strategy underscores the company's commitment to strengthening its financial position through strategic asset management.
