Navkar Corporation wins major railway cargo terminal contract

Navkar Corporation Limited announced on December 19, 2025, that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from Central Railway for the "Contract for Development of Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal" at Somathane, entirely on Railway Land. This award is expected to substantially strengthen the company's logistics infrastructure and integrated cargo handling capabilities, improve customer service, and reinforce its strategic presence in the region.

The contract, valued at approximately INR 63,21,92,373, is for a facility to be licensed for 35 years. Navkar Corporation is required to commence construction within three months of receiving approval and complete it within 18 months of the GCT's construction approval. The terms and conditions are specified per an agreement with Central Railway Mumbai Division.

The company confirmed that the order was awarded by a domestic entity, Central Railway, and does not involve any promoter or promoter group interest. It also stated that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions. The Letter of Acceptance was received via hand delivery on December 18, 2025.
